Maintain thin film processes by supporting manufacturing and growing equipment up time while ensuring product quality. Maximize yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Respond to production issues, implement solutions, reduce costs, and improve yields. Support and supervise the performance of tools by using statistical process controls and data analysis. Identify and resolve defect and tool issues. Communicate procedural changes to engineers and productions personnel. Collaborate with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Evaluate products to ensure they meet the required design and performance specifications. Conduct research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommend process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types.
