Description LOCATION: CLEARCorps Detroit - Detroit, MI 48213 POSITION SUMMARY: The Community Engagement & Education Specialist at SEMHA, working at CLEARCorps, will support the Lead Education and Plumbing Assessment Project by conducting outreach, providing lead education, and performing in-home plumbing assessments in Detroit. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Specialist will be based out of the Eastside Detroit office, spending about 75% of their time in the field as part of a two-person team completing 10–20 home visits per week. The role is ideal for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in community engagement, comfortable traveling throughout Detroit neighborhoods, entering homes, and engaging families through assessments, education, and community presentations at schools, faith-based organizations, and meetings, following program guidelines and state-provided training.
