Western Ave. Avondale, AZ 85323 Posting Details: Salary: $57,315.97 - $67,315.97 Anticipated Salary: $62,315.97: Grade: 20: Closing Date: May 21, 2026: Job Summary: Serves as a lead technician, under the general supervision of a resident engineer, project supervisor, or lab supervisor, performing highly technical activities on highway construction projects, including highway, electrical and landscape construction inspection, area lab materials quality control, field office materials coordination, and construction administration. Inspects, tests and documents complex construction items, such as highways, FMS, lighting, landscaping and irrigation, materials testing, and construction administration. Primary contact for contractors, consultants, and ADOT employees on minor projects or segments of a major project. Resolves issues of concern with contractors.
