Description The FAA, ATO Office of Safety analyzes and monitors the safety of the NAS, and leads a broad range of activities, programs, and initiatives that communicate safety metrics. In addition, the ATO Office of Safety leads the elaboration, enhancement, and maintenance of tools such as custom web applications, automated capabilities and analytical programs for safety data collection, processing, and reporting. The Sr. Engineer will provide engineering support to assist with program/project planning and execution, documentation preparation, process improvement, data collection and analysis, tool development, and configuration control of programs and documents. This position is contingent upon award of contract to NATECH Duties and Responsibilities: Analyses and Tool Support: - Perform quantitative analysis for risk estimates and factors, ranking both in airborne and surface environments, and provide support for SRM efforts, to include data identification, data merging, preprocessing/cleaning, statistical modeling, machine learning, supervised learning (i.e., classification, regression), unsupervised learning (i.e., clustering, anomaly detection) and collision risk analysis. - P...
