POSITION SUMMARY: The Bioanalytical Associate is responsible for handling biological samples, reagents, and materials in support of sample testing and method validation projects. This is a laboratory-based position whose primary function is executing various types of assays with relatively high throughput in support of bioanalytical projects, under direct supervision. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform sample analysis under supervision and in consultation with Bioanalytical Principal Investigator (BPI) - Perform method validation testing under supervision and in consultation with BPI - Perform lot qualification of assay reagents under supervision - Complete test records in compliance with MSD’s Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Laboratory (GCLP) requirements, applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study plans - Perform peer review of test records generated by other testing staff for GDP compliance - Perform sample aliquoting - Perform general maintenance of lab equipment - Perform materials/reagent inventory - Adhere to all laboratory safety policies and procedures including proper use of all required personal prot...
