POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Pacemaker Implant, Structural Heart and IR procedures. Recovers, monitors and cares for post cardiac catheterization, post cardiac intervention, post peripheral angiography/intervention, post pacemaker and post structural heart procedure patients. Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director and Charge Nurse. Gives direction to: LPN, C.N.A EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE: LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Graduate from an accredited nursing program, required. - Successful completion of a 12 Lead EKG course - Minimum of 3 years of continuous direct patient care, required. - Telemetry experience. - BLS, required. - ACLS, required. - MT RN licensure, required. - Knowledge of Pre-Op/PA...
