GAQ227R209: Location: We're looking to hire for this role at one of our office locations: New York, Washington, D.C., the SF Bay Area, Denver, or Seattle/Bellevue. This will be a hybrid role with in-office expectations. About the Role: Databricks is looking for an experienced commercial attorney to join our growing commercial legal team with a dedicated focus on supporting our Canada field team and providing ad hoc support to bespoke commercialization/integration projects (as needed). You will be a key player in reviewing and negotiating Canadian customer agreements and providing legal support for Databricks' revenue-generating and commercialization activities. You will report to the Sr. Director & AGC, Commercial Legal. You have 4+ years of relevant commercial legal transactional experience with a focus on complex technology transactions within the Canadian market. You possess meaningful experience negotiating SaaS commercial transactions and strong knowledge of legal issues related to Canadian data privacy (PIPEDA), information security, artificial intelligence, and intellectual property.
