In absence of Director or when necessary, assists the Director to plan, direct, supervise, and monitor the activities of the department to achieve optimum patient care by meeting established goals and objectives. Coordinates these activities with the Medical Staff, Administration, families, ancillary services, and community agencies to enhance total patient care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). 2. Valid driver’s license. 3. CPR certification within 30 days of hire date. EXPERIENCE: 1. Three (3) years of progressive Registered Nurse experience. 2. Two (2) years Hospice experience.
