Description A growing machine shop is seeking CNC Machinist with knowledge and experience on turning machines operator and/or set-up. Be proficient in the use of lathe. Programming abilities are a plus - abilities to read, understand, and edit existing programs. Able to maintain close tolerances and achieving a high finish standard in a production. Experience in working with a vast array of materials including Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, Copper; Steel among other types of metals. Possible direct placement or temp-to-hire. Day shift. Responsibilities: · Operate machinery per the appropriate work instructions. · Perform set-up and programming (if trained) · Use and maintain a variety of precision measuring / inspection equipment · Complete 1st piece inspection of part and maintain consistent quality checks · Conduct daily machine maintenance of machine and equipment and maintain records. Requirements: Job Requirements: · 1-3 years of experience with CNC machining and operation.
