Medical Technician - PRN - ( 2600011E ) Description In collaboration with the Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Attending Physician and Clinic Operations Manager, directs patient flow, assists staff members in carrying out patient treatments, assists in specimen collection, phlebotomy and laboratory testing, and maintains a safe, clean and stocked ambulatory setting. Preps patients for visits to ensure smooth clinic flow for all physicians working with the multidisciplinary team. PRN- As Needed: Qualifications: Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED along with formal training certification as a Medical Assistant (Required) Minimum Work Experience: 1 year related experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred) Required Skills/Knowledge: If working in an environment where phlebotomy is performed, must successfully complete CNH phlebotomy training. Ability to work with a diverse staff and patient population and have excellent customer service skills. Basic computer knowledge necessary.
