Responsibilities: - Design and calculation of air springs and their components, and their effect in the vehicle, in close collaboration with the design team, application engineers, the customer and suppliers. - Continuous comparison of test and simulation results through close - cooperation with test engineers. - Consideration of simulation and development results from economic perspectives such as material usage and manufacturability. - Consideration and further development of methods, standards and processes. - Supporting the integration of digitalization solutions - Leading innovation projects - Presenting development and calculation results to customers and suppliers and providing consulting services Qualifications: - Engineering degree (Master, Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering or similar) - >3 years related work experience preferable (automotive, mass production products) - FEM software (primarily Abaqus, secondarily MSC.Marc/Mentat, Moldflow), Python scripting, CAD software (primarily CATIA, secondarily Siemens NX or others) - Experience with automation and AI tools - Fluent German an...
