A national leader in transfusion medicine, Bloodworks has been chosen to serve more than 90 hospitals in Washington, Oregon and Alaska – partnering closely with local hospitals to deliver the highest level of patient care. Patients with traumatic injuries, undergoing surgeries or organ transplantation, or receiving treatment for cancer and blood disorders all depend on our services, expertise, laboratories and research. We are local, nonprofit, independent, volunteer-supported and community-based. Bloodworks is seeking a detail-oriented individual to perform a wide variety of tasks in a detailed, sequential manner, in accordance with standard operating procedures, resulting in the production and final labeling of blood components. Working in a highly-regulated, and team-oriented environment, the incumbent will prepare, document, evaluate, quarantine/segregate, perform routine labeling of, and package and create transfer records for blood and blood components according to standard operating procedures, as well as operate and maintain equipment used in the processing and labeling of blood co...
