Programme Officer (Adults) Fixed Term Contract for up to 12 months Grade C- £35,412 - £44,075: Working 36.5 hours per week: Role Purpose: The Programme Officer (Adults) will support the delivery, coordination, and monitoring of key programmes within the Adults Team, with a particular focus on Sexual Health commissioning and the Birmingham Fast Track Cities commitments. The postholder will provide operational, administrative, and programme support to ensure effective commissioning, partnership working, and delivery of public health outcomes for adults in Birmingham. The role contributes to improving sexual health outcomes, reducing inequalities, strengthening HIV prevention and treatment pathways, and supporting Birmingham’s progress as a Fast Track City committed to reduce incidents of blood borne viruses. The postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues across Public Health, commissioned providers, NHS partners, and external stakeholders.
