Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR SUMMARY: This position will focus on maternal mental health including pregnancy-related and post-partum depression and anxiety. The primary responsibility will be to provide individual counseling with time spent on collaboration, intervention and consultation with providers and some facilitation of support groups for those experiencing post-partum depression or anxiety. HOURS AND ENVIRONMENT: You will have the opportunity to work in a close-knit and supportive team with a multi-D team to include sub-specialty clinicians in the Saint Alphonsus Family Center. The position will be 4 1/2 days a week. The start time of the day is flexible. REQUIREMENTS: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required in the state where practicing. One-year post-license experience in related mental health setting preferred. Experience working with the perinatal population preferred.
