Job description

Description: - Administer and interpret speech and language diagnostic tests - Assess voice, articulation, fluency, language and oral motor functioning - Determine therapy goals, objectives and strategies associated with treatment and intervention for designated students, based upon diagnostic assessments - Provide direct therapy to assigned students in a one-to-one or small group setting in our preschool program - Provide services to families within our Early Intervention program - Assist in developing IEP goals and objectives - Collaborate with classroom teachers in coordinating speech/language learning activities across clinical and academic environments - Confer with audiologists to optimize the student’s use of listening technology - Check transmitters/receivers and other listening technology - Communicate regularly with parents to facilitate transfer of learning beyond the school setting - Maintain all required student records and generate necessary reports - Actively engage in professional development and keep current in the field - Fulfill any ASHA or state requirements for licensure and Teaching Certificate - Supervise SLP-A’s Requirements: - Master’s Degree in Speech-Lang...
