Position Overview 603 Manufacturing is a high-reliability cable and harness manufacturer serving space, aerospace, and defense customers. We build mission-critical hardware where workmanship, documentation discipline, and on-time delivery are non-negotiable. Position Summary: The Assistant Production Manager is a highly hands-on leadership role responsible for driving daily execution on the production floor. This is not a desk-based or strategic position. This role exists to ensure work flows, problems get solved in real time, and production commitments are met. This individual reports to the Production Manager and serves as the primary driver of day-to-day floor execution, leading coordinators, supervisors, and cell leads while maintaining a constant presence on the floor. Key Responsibilities: - Be physically present on the production floor throughout the day, driving execution and maintaining flow - Lead, coach, and hold accountable Lead Production Coordinators, Supervisors, and Cell Leads - Identify and remove production blockers in real time (materials, tooling, labor, documentation) - Partner closely with the Planning team to align priorities, adjust to changes, and ensure th...
