Responsibilities Peraton is hiring a Software Architect to work in a hybrid capacity, this role will be on-site at Lexington Park, MD, Santa Clara, CA or Reston, VA. If your loacted in VA you will have to travel to visit the customer site at Pax River. Join Peraton’s innovative team and lead the architectural modernization of the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of today’s operational system. TMPC is the mission planning and execution component of the Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS). As a Software Architect, you will define the architecture and guide the transformation of a mission-critical system into a microservices-based capability. You will provide technical leadership across the engineering team, mentor developers, and drive adoption of modern engineering practices including AI-assisted development and secure DevSecOps pipelines.
