What’s the role? As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will be part of the ServiceNow Platform Engineering team and play a key role in ensuring Westpac has an accurate, current, and trusted view of its infrastructure and application landscape within ServiceNow. You will be accountable for the quality, currency, and reliability of Discovery and CMDB data, supporting critical incident, problem, event, alert, and change processes across the bank. While Discovery outcomes are central to the role, you will also contribute to broader platform engineering initiatives, provide higher‑level (L3) operational support when required, and help shape enterprise Discovery and CMDB capability to ensure long‑term platform sustainability.
