Lead Quality Inspector

Job description

A Lead Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and specifications. They perform inspections, tests, and audits to identify any defects or deviations from quality requirements. Quality Inspectors use various tools and techniques to measure and evaluate the quality of materials, components, and finished products. They document and report any non-conformities and work closely with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Additionally, they may participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures. The Lead Quality inspector will be responsible for training and leading teams of inspectors. Essential Responsibilities: - To train their Inspection Crew in the Final Inspection and Test of Bus duct, Low and Medium voltage Motor Control, Low and Medium voltage Switchgear and PCR. - To train their Inspection Crew to perform these tests if necessary for Powell Customers and/or their representatives during witnessed customer inspections. - Inspect and test all equipment manufactured at Powell facilities. - Interface with shop, engineering, sales, customers...
