Job description

Job Description 1. Work in conjunction with the molding team to solve issues with automation equipment. 2. Work unsupervised in maintaining equipment, tools, and work area. 3. Respond to production calls for assistance on automation related equipment. 4. Assist in the set-up / tuning of appropriate equipment following a mold change. 5. Perform a daily visual inspection of on-line equipment to detect malfunctions. 6. Perform repairs associated with the red tag program 7. Assist Injection Automation Engineers and department management with project requests. 8. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and work area. 9. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements. Qualifications: - LOTO certified - Arc Flash certified - JDE work order entry - Repair automation equipment encompassing electrical, mechanical, & pneumatic breakdowns. - Tune robotic applications as production needs arise. General Qualifications: - High School diploma / GED equivalent. - Knowledge of mechanical systems and proven ability to apply that knowledge. - Commitment to complete four-year Berry Global maintenance mechanic apprenticeship program. - Able to work i...
