Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all safety checks at the start of the shift on all cranes and tools, document as necessary and continue to perform safety checks throughout the shift. - Read, understand, and interpret blueprints and job routings. - Record required information on proper forms relating to machining practices where required. - Properly operate and interpret various measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, gauges etc. - Correctly monitor and identify when equipment needs to be sent out for calibration. - Perform inspections using Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions. - Work with department supervisor and maintenance to make sure machines are running smoothly. - Performs housekeeping and other related duties.
