SUMMARY: Supervises, trains and monitors the performance of assigned banquet staff, ensuring that all procedures are completed to department and location standards. Essential Functions: Maintains complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function and communicates expectations and to banquet staff. Supervisors banquet staff; ensures quality service is provided to guests. Greets guests upon arrival and assist in seating as required by group; ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; and maintains effective guest relations. Recognizes and resolves guest complaints and concerns. Supervises event set up and break down procedures; contributes to overall cleanliness and organization of facility and event location.
