Job DetailsJob Location: Chicago High School for the Arts - Chicago, IL 60622Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.66 HourlyThe Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts®) seeks a full-time Security Guard to join our security team. Security personnel assist with the supervision of students throughout the building, ensuring a safe and supportive school environment. They are expected to establish trusting relationships with students and colleagues, address student misbehavior, and enforce school policies and procedures. Hourly Rate: $22.66: Key responsibilities include: Patrolling school grounds, supervising entrances and exits, and escorting students. Monitoring student movement through cameras, walking hallways, and checking restrooms/changing areas. Responding to staff and student reports of wrongdoing, investigating incidents, and supporting administrators in promoting good student conduct. Providing information on matters requiring administrative attention. Supporting the Dean of Students, faculty, and staff in creating a safe and positive school climate.
