HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College is seeking a new Board of Trustees member. This exciting volunteer position helps to direct and support the College's strategic plan 22-25 HACC is at a critical moment in its history. Our students face greater challenges and are more diverse than ever before, funding for higher education continues to decline and enrollment trends continue to trend downward across the country. We are currently seeking to fill one vacancy: Terms: Aug. 1, 2023, to June 30, 2026 As a trustee at HACC, you: The Board has an annual strategic planning retreat, usually in August. New Trustees are expected to participate in a half-day orientation session scheduled at mutual convenience by the President's office. In addition, a variety of conferences and training opportunities is offered to all Trustees, on topics relevant to Board service. Trustees may take advantage of such offerings at College expense. Through the year, a number of annual or occasional activities are planned, at which Board participation is expected or desired.
