ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a HVAC System Designer to join our team supporting Fluor on their Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project! This position is full-time and will be based out of Greenville, SC. Responsibilities: Prepare and check HVAC designs of intermediate complexity utilizing 3D modeling and 2D computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) automation tools. Design 3D models of HVAC equipment and ductwork, then 2D duct plans from the 3D model. Develop 2D sections, details and HVAC schedules. Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors and clients. Execute work in compliance with Project Quality Plan and procedures. Execute work in accordance with the approved project scope, cost and schedule baselines. Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations. Provide technical support to activities associated with equipment and material procurement and subcontracting including review of vendor submittals.
