Maintains responsibility for the preparation of the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions throughout surgical procedures. This position requires knowledge of a wide range of surgical procedures and the ability to implement hospital policies and practices related to surgery. Works under the supervision of the surgeon and in collaboration with the circulating Registered Nurse to ensure a safe operating environment, proper equipment function, and optimal patient outcomes. Participates in surgical call rotation to provide 24-hour coverage for emergency and trauma cases. Sign-on bonus of $3,750! *: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience in Surgical Technology required.
