Job description

The Poker Cashier position will welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and finalize cash payments at the Poker Room. - Responsible for the makeup and verification of bankrolls for all money-handling departments - Operates assigned bank or window according to approved procedures. - Verifies previous count sheet from assigned bank or window. - Counts down the bank at end of each shift and reconciles to the cage accountability. - As needed, can assist the Impressment team, for that gaming day, in transporting currency and chips/tokens to and from cashier cages with appropriate documentation. - Maintains Ticket Redemption Kiosks and Self-Service Centers. - Coordinates the timely seating of poker patrons. - Operates computerized and/or manual poker seating reservation system. - Exchange currency and chips at the poker tables. - Accepts new applications into the Total Rewards program. - Performs exchanges with Poker Dealers to fill table banks in accordance with the approved Rules of Play, Internal Controls Standards, and Louisiana Land-Based Casino Gaming Division Rules and Regulations. - Communicates all pertinent information to Poker Supervisor or Poker Manager. - Seat c...
