Job description

We're hiring Behavioral Aides III in the Depot Park area of Sacramento, CA Behavioral Aide Responsibilities: - Support Educational Plans: Assist teachers with providing instructional support in content areas as well as implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). - Instructional Assistance: Provide instructional support tailored to individual student needs. - Travel: Be adaptable to report to assigned location(s) within a specific region. - Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergency situations (e.g., fights, seizures) and intervene using Pro-ACT and/or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) methods. - Student Supervision: Monitor and assist students during class breaks, meals, transportation, and bathroom use. - Recreational Activities: Participate in and/or facilitate activities like athletics, crafts, and off-campus trips. - Behavioral Modeling: Demonstrate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies to increase or decrease targeted behaviors. - Data Recording: Record daily data on student behavior, skills progression, incidents, and learning objectives. - Effective Communication: Maintain open communication with supervisors and agency staff regar...
