Overview The Vermont Department of Health (VDH) is seeking an individual with emergency medical services (EMS), healthcare, quality improvement, and program implementation experience to join the Mobile Integrated Healthcare development team in the Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS). Based at the Department of Health in Waterbury, Vermont, this position will serve a key role in advancing Mobile Integrated Healthcare statewide, and other related EMS system priorities such furthering the development of EMS education and training strategy, data systems, and performance improvement. This work is supported through the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). This position will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across programs and departments to support the statewide rollout of Mobile Integrated Healthcare as well as other related initiatives within OEMS. Key responsibilities include participating in the development, organization, and implementation of statewide education and training strategies for EMS personnel providing emergency and non-emergency out of hospital care, and the educators who are developing the EMS workforce.
