BASIC FUNCTION: In close partnership with the VP of Workforce Development, lead semiconductor industry workforce development coordination across New York State, a key part of the Governor’s Office of Semiconductor Expansion, Management, and Integration (GO-SEMI). Work with key regional and statewide stakeholders on the alignment and development of workforce development programs for the semiconductor industry. The AVP is responsible for the direct oversight of GO-SEMI’s workforce data reporting, staff management and the development of new strategies for industry-driven workforce development.
