Parking & Transportation Services is seeking dependable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Transit Bus Drivers. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to gain professional driving experience while providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Rate of Pay: $17.00-$19.00/hour: Qualifications: - Work 12 -20 hours per week, including 1 weekend day. - Safely operate transit buses along assigned routes and schedules. - Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed, including those with disabilities. - Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. - Maintain accurate ridership and operational records. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and fellow drivers via radio or mobile data system. - Follow all departmental policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations. - One year of experience driving buses, or passenger vans; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. - Possession of a current Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class B driver's license with passenger end...
