Junior Manufacturing Engineer

DEKA Research & Development is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer for process development, build development and transition to manufacturing of complex mechanical assemblies. This key role requires cross functional effectiveness both internally and externally with the project team, customers, suppliers and partners. How will you make an impact as a Junior Manufacturing Engineer: To be successful in this role as a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you will need the following skills: - Develop and maintain bill of materials, line layout, production control methods, clear assembly instructions, fixtures, and pFMEA’s - Plan, conduct and execute pre-production builds, with a vision for volume production - Work collaboratively with engineering team to develop robust, production-ready designs - Consult with suppliers to determine product specifications, working with supply chain team to purchase equipment, materials, and parts - Interface with manufacturing partners for all stages of design transfer to ensure products meet performance criteria, delivering a quality product on-time - BS in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering - Must have experience in manufacturing environ...
