The Structural Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of the College’s structures and fixtures. This position involves a combination of carpentry, masonry, painting, and general building maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing campus environment. The ideal candidate is skilled in various construction and repair techniques, with a focus on both reactive and proactive maintenance. Work Days: Monday-Friday: Shift Start/End Time: 7:30AM-4:30PM: Hours Per Week: 40: Weeks Per Year: 52: Position Title: Structural Specialist: Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular full-time Supervisor: Supervisor of Structural Trades: Position Purpose: Maintains and repairs structures and fixtures on campus using a range of materials, including wood, concrete, mortar, and more. Applies paints, stains to interior and exterior surfaces, while also performing minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
