Job description

Overview The Sales Assistant will perform a combination of cash handling/ register sales, food preparation, stocking and deep cleaning of all areas of the General Store to include the kitchen. Responsibilities: - Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines. - Operation of POS/cash registers and resultant adherence to cash handling policies and procedures. - Maintenance of merchandise by sweeping, dusting, cleaning, organizing, rotating and restocking daily. - Preparation, packaging, serving and selling of General Store “to go” food items. Tasks associated with this process may include but are not limited to: - Handling of food products including raw meats. - Operating commercial fryers, display warmers, commercial slicers and stove top. - Handling of knives and associated kitchen wares and wraps. - “Temping”, logging and discerning data associated with food preparation and preservation. - Monitor prepared food so that it is safe, well presented and of high quality. - Deep cleans General Store kitchen. - Cleaning of filters and machines on a daily basis. - Responsible for filtering of...
