Cartographer **Future Opportunity** **Onsite** CSEngineering is looking to add a Cartographer to our growing team! This position will lead GIS mapping efforts and manage base geospatial data critical to development planning, facilities engineering, and operations. Bring your GIS, CAD, and cartography expertise to a high-visibility role supporting strategic and day-to-day operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - The Cartographer shall work with the Civil unit within DoD to provide extensive cartographical expertise to support assigned GIS projects through application of professional knowledge and skill in cartographical practices, processes, and techniques. Uses broad CAD/GIS expertise to develop unique applications of cartographic/CAD theory/principles to solve both short- and long-range problems for the base GeoBase mapping system concerning base development, facility engineering, and day-to-day operations and maintenance management activities. Verifies that each Base GIS layer and Base Tab maps are correctly populated with required data, and they are maintained in an up-to-date manner.
