Job description

Job Description: The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment and ensures correct delivery and shipment of materials. Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform work within takt/cycle time - Perform work per work instructions - Provide and process movement of material to point of use - Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat - Inform proper personnel of material shortage - Check in and place materials from other cells - Operate forklift - Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area - Practice 5Ss Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints - Basic math skills - Knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu - Certified forklift operator Education and Experience Requirements: Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer. - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience in material handling
