The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Teen Trip Staff to join our team. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a Teen Trip Staff you will be responsible for leading backpacking and water based trips for a group of 10-12 teens ages 13-17. If hired for this position, you will live and work in a cabin/yurts, with a co-leader, to provide constructive and responsible leadership. You will also be responsible for developing camper character and values; fosters community, encouraging group leadership, and developing stewardship while facilitating group discussions and activities related to values, leadership, and self-awareness all while providing a quality experience to campers and families.
