General Mechanic

Job description

The General Mechanic is responsible for providing support for general building operations, performing inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance on various building systems. This individual must be results-oriented and proactive in ensuring the continued operation of mechanical, electrical, and automatic temperature control equipment. Job Responsibilities: - Perform mechanical work necessary for the installation and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications. - Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on all air & water distribution system equipment, including but not limited to various types of mechanical and electrical equipment. - Perform re-lamping, both indoor and outdoor. - Daily operation, inspection, maintenance, repair, or assist in repairs of building Energy Management System & Building Automated System, and Fire Safety System when required.
