Electronics Technician

Job description

Kalman & Company is seeking to hire an experienced Electronics Technician. This will be a full-time position with on-site support required in Addison, TX, and the Dallas Metro Area. The candidate will provide hands-on technical support for airborne sensor and data acquisition systems, including integration, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic instrumentation in a mission-critical operational environment. Responsibilities: - Perform installation, integration, calibration, and operational checkout of airborne sensor systems and associated electronic hardware - Troubleshoot and repair electronic subsystems including power distribution, signal conditioning, data acquisition hardware, and communication interfaces - Maintain and track sensor equipment inventory, calibration schedules, and maintenance logs in accordance with program documentation requirements. - Support pre-mission and post-mission equipment inspections and readiness assessments - Interface with scientists, engineers, and government personnel to coordinate sensor configuration and data collection operations - Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance manuals, an...
