TITLE: Assistant Controller - Operations: JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Controller - Operations supports the Chief Accounting Officer & Controller in managing the university’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, increasing the efficiency of accounting procedures, maintaining strong internal controls, and overseeing daily accounting activities. This position is responsible for maintaining continuous compliance with federal, state and university requirements for accurate and timely financial records. Independent thought and judgement are required as well as personal initiative in completing required and assigned tasks. Work is performed independently under the general supervision of the Chief Accounting Officer & Controller and performance evaluation is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.
