KEY DUTIES: Design and manufacture a variety signs or graphics by preparing sketches, electronic proofs or scale drawings; make recommendations to requesting department on size, colour, wording and material; estimate time and cost for projects; recommend, develop and apply new processing techniques. Lay out and produce lettering and graphic images for signs, vehicle markings, anti-graffiti wraps, stencils, and decals using computerized sign making equipment; transfer to different substrates such as vinyl banner, glass, metals, plastics, or vinyl sheeting to produce finished signs.
