Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee. - Operates and maintains building facilities systems and equipment, related to HVAC. - Reads and interprets blue prints, drawings, schematics and written technical documents associated with HVAC systems in order to locate trouble areas and complete repairs accurately. - Performs preventive maintenance, installation, repair, overhaul, disassembly, reassembly, and modifications to heating, ventilating, control, pneumatic electrical and electronic systems, and related equipment to insure proper safe and efficient operation. - Experience preparing material takeoffs from blue prints. - Maintains required record-keeping. - Performs related responsibilities as required.
