Job description

Our team builds and operates cloud-native services that enable developers and platform users to build, deploy, and manage applications in Oracle Cloud environments. We are looking for a principal-level engineer who will act as a technical leader for the team and a force multiplier across a broader engineering area. In this role, you will define architecture, drive technical strategy, and lead execution for critical service and platform investments. You will partner with product managers, partner teams, and customers to shape direction, break down ambiguous problem spaces, and align engineering decisions with long-term product and platform goals. You will be expected to lead large or ambiguous initiatives end to end, influence design and operational practices across teams, and raise the technical bar through mentorship, design leadership, and engineering rigor. This role requires strong ownership, sound judgment in tradeoff-driven decisions, and the ability to move complex efforts forward through influence rather than direct authority.
