Location: Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: No Job Summary: Responsible for a variety of technical duties necessary to the acquisition of echocardiographic examinations and maintenance of the normal operation of the adult echocardiography laboratory. Job Duties: Performs and processes echocardiographic examinations including two-dimensional, three dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures and exercise techniques. Performs emergency procedures when necessary; transports equipment and patients. Assists with special procedures including transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative echocardiography, pericardiocentesis, and contrast echocardiography. Analyzes and files echocardiographic data utilizing digital computer analysis systems. Assists in developing and maintaining internal training programs and in technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques. Assists in approved research activities.
