We are currently seeking 3 full-time (M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm) Medical Billing Specialists for our Tracy office. Job Responsibilities: - Verify medical eligibility; benefit coverage and authorization requirements online or phone. - Obtain authorization if required by plan via fax, email, or online. - Process files within predesignated deadlines. - Contact patients to obtain information to process insurance claims or bill patients accordingly. - Contact Work Comp carriers to obtain information for authorizations and process accordingly. - Preform other duties as needed.
