Description General Description: The Order Selector is responsible for picking orders to be packed and shipped out. Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. Essential Duties & Job Functions: - Receives verbal instructions from manager. - Obtains product from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves. - Picks/counts customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked. - Check, verify, and fill customer orders. - Stages orders to correct area when order pick has been finished. - Organizes items of pallet as needed. - Re-packs and re-organizes product in storage areas and pick locations. - Organize stocks and maintain inventory. - Organize warehouse space. - Inspect products for defects and damages. - Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
