Plant Manager - Ready Mixed Concrete

Description This position is responsible for opening/closing the plant and managing the day-to-day plant operations to ensure smooth, consistent, and quality plant operations, and to provide leadership and oversight to plant personnel. Essential Functions: - Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety, environmental, and operational policies without exception. - Contribute to a positive team-oriented culture while upholding the company’s values. - Safely batch concrete and load trucks according to order specification, ensuring the highest level of quality while maintaining high efficiency. - Enter material tickets into back office. Prepare daily packets to include batch tickets, material tickets, daily truck sheets, and any other relevant receipts for delivery to the main office. - Perform quality checks on sand moisture, slumps, and temperatures according to schedule. - Schedule drivers for the next day with times provided by Dispatch. - Actively motivate and coach drivers and other plant staff. - Maintain a clean and orderly plant and clean fleet. - Distribute, receive, and review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) from all supervising drivers. - Conduct daily...
