Eligibility for the post-basic training education is prioritized to applicants with approximately two years recent acute medical/surgical experience upon critical care program full-time start date. BCIT Critical Care Nursing Specialty Program Online Theory (if required): June 29 - Dec. 13, 2026 2 BCIT Workshop Days (Paid): Sept. 23 & Oct. 21, 2026 Full-time training at BCIT & practicum locations: Jan. 4 2027 - Mar. 20, 2027 *course dates will be modified based on previous courses completed, VCH only funds for required courses.
