As a Driver, you will deliver equipment in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. This position does not require a CDL driver's license. What you’ll do: Drop off and pick up equipment for customers Operate heavy construction equipment such as manual transmission semi-trucks and trailers ("rollbacks" or dovetails") consistent with DOT classification CDL-B Maintain a driver log: Suggest additional equipment and supplies as customers may need Operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Valid and clean driver's license: Superior customer service skills: Diligent attention to safety and safe driving procedures Basic knowledge of construction equipment: Frequent lifting of items up to 45 pounds This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
