Job DetailsJob Location: Structural - Omaha, NE 68110Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $21.00 - $28.00Job Shift: 1st ShiftPrimary Purpose of this Position: To procure steel, miscellaneous buyouts, supplies, and sub-contracts for the uninterrupted operation of the company. Essential Job Functions: 1. Obtain competitive bids on materials, supplies, and subcontracts. 2. Authority to issue purchase orders and award contracts based on greatest profitability to the company, quality and delivery. 3. Expedite shipment of materials required and take corrective action regarding delayed items. 4. Maintain inventory stock levels on material inventory as directed by Purchasing Manager. 5. Process “Advance Material Lists” for contract jobs as directed by the Purchasing Manager. 6. Obtain quotes and purchase materials and miscellaneous buyout items for Service Center and Contract Jobs. 7. Maintain, reevaluate and expand reliable sources of supply and secondary sources as a back up to insure continued production. 8.
